Introduction to the Compliance & Credential Review Process

Pearson Virtual Schools' Compliance team is responsible for reviewing credentials for all third-party providers prior to approval to begin serving students in Connections Academy schools.  Please review the Required Credentials by State and the Helpful Hints and Tips document PRIOR to submitting any providers for review.  

Here is a quick overview of the credential review and approval process:

1. Contracted vendor submits provider credential(s) and background check(s) information to Pearson via the PVS Provider Intake Form. 

2. Pearson Compliance Team must review and approve the credential and background check information submitted in this form.

3. Any new therapists, as well as therapists who are seeking licensure in additional states, must be approved by the Compliance Team prior to working with students.

4. Vendors are contractually obligated to provide renewed credentials ahead of expiration to avoid any disruption of services to students.
